I bought a couple of Western Digital hard drives this weekend. Registering them is important in order to claim the warranty they come with. Unfortunately, registering anything basically means that you submit yourself to a small survey.

You get ask the usual questions about where you found the product, did you research the product, where did you buy the product, etc. Then there’s the list of rateable items where you choose how strongly you feel about them, such as, how you you value customer reviews of the product, professional reviews, included software, etc. Last are the demographic questions about you explaining how technically proficient you think you are, your age, your annual income, etc. It was the annual income question which amused me the most:

There at the bottom, one can choose “None of your business“. Not “Prefer not to say” or “Decline to comment” but rather to the point.

It made me laugh. The little things always do.

I’ve got my Google Reader actively aggregating a number of RSS feeds including many humorous ones. The latest is Comixed.com that showcases Yonkoma styled comical strips. Imagine the daily comics section of the newspaper done with photographs of people arranged and captioned to tell a joke or to depict a funny scene.

What follows is today’s addition. It was the best way to end a rather miserable work day.

I went hunting for video clips on Youtube tonight. It started with watching clips of LeBron James making basketball look like child’s play and ended up with some of David Letterman’s Top Ten Lists. On a whim, I clicked on the link for the following video. It’s been a while since I laughed so hard at the suble humor involved.

The people known for the LOLCats at ICanHasCheezburger.com have a string of comedic sites within their so-called Cheezburger Network. One that I enjoy most is the TotallyLooksLike.com that shows a comparison between two objects or people or both. Once in a while the comparison could be questionable but most are dead on, even humorous. Take for instance the comparison of the International Space Station and a Tie Fighter.

That’s hilarious.
